The views from my room were beyond spectacular—I woke up to breathtaking cityscapes every morning. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud! Plus, the staff went out of their way to make my stay unforgettable, especially when I indulged in their amazing spa treatments.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, and the gym and pool facilities were enjoyable. However, I faced issues with service, including a slow restaurant experience and a lack of clear communication about room amenities. While the hotel is great for families, it could improve its customer service consistency.

Family stay—worth it but a bit pricey

We managed to grab a lovely breakfast at the hotel restaurant when the wait next door was insane. The staff wrapped up our leftovers beautifully, it was like they cared, really cared about us, you know?

It wasn’t inexpensive, but I’d say still reasonable for what we got.

Nice family getaway

I had a good time with family and enjoyed the location. We watched fireworks from our King Room with Lake View, which was awesome. The shower was great and the bed provided a comfortable sleep. The hotel offers a clean fitness center and a nice indoor swimming pool for some relaxation.

the ritz-carlton has a fantastic location, just a quick elevator ride to water tower place. the king room with lake view was elegant, and the staff truly stood out with their warm treatment. the pool was nice, and i loved the relaxation at kalma spas, especially the hot stone massage. really a great place to unwind!

The breakfast at the hotel was a game changer—those poached eggs were perfection! Plus, the Club Lounge service made me feel like royalty with their top-notch recommendations and offerings. Also, the location was prime for hitting up nearby gems like Wildberry Pancakes and Café, where the flapjacks are to die for!

Had a bit of a hiccup with the reception when they tried to explain what a roll-in shower was. I mean, really? It sounded like a rolling device you’d find at a circus. Still, the staff tried their best, and the overall vibe stayed lit.

Opting for a King Room with City View offered stunning vistas of the skyline and Navy Pier, especially during the evening fireworks. The shower was impressive, with great water pressure, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. However, the check-in process was somewhat confusing, arriving at the lobby from the 12th floor was unexpected, and the staff's communication felt a little casual for the setting.

My partner and I stayed for three nights, and we had a great location next to restaurants and shops. The concierge was very helpful with the Thanksgiving dinner reservations, providing a lengthy list of nearby options. The rooftop patio was nice for cocktails.

We noticed that the service could be better. There were times when staff seemed uninterested, especially at the bar. Also, there was loud noise from sirens that interrupted our stay.

It was an excellent fit for a weekend jaunt in Chicago with very good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, which made relaxing easy after a long day. Consider paying for the Club Level for extra perks.

Enjoyed the stunning lake view from my room, but faced issues with room preparation.
